Start with the basics that matter most
Tires, brakes, chain or belt condition, leaks, battery health and obvious signs of crash damage should all be reviewed. Those items tell you a lot about how the motorcycle has been used and maintained.
Cold start behaviour is valuable
A motorcycle that has not been warmed up yet can reveal starting, fueling and idle problems more clearly than a bike that was just started and ridden around the block.
A written result is easier to use
A clear report helps the buyer remember what passed, what needs attention and what should be negotiated. That is especially helpful when you are comparing several bikes in different parts of the Lower Mainland.
Inspection is not the same as repair
The point of the appointment is to understand condition before buying. If the bike needs work afterward, you can decide whether the price still makes sense.
